I've never really understood the hype around MAC. I don't really know many people that use this brand but since becoming a beauty blogger, I've noticed nearly every blogger own's some products from MAC. I gave into the temptation and brought some products from them. I can't comment whether I like them yet but stay tuned for an update! I have the pro longwear foundation and the select moisture cover. What are your MAC fav's? Should I be writing MAC in block capitals? I'll stop saying MAC now. As you can tell I don't have the foggiest! Sshhh kia.

*EDIT before you considering spending a lot of money on a make up purchase do your research! I looked at loads of blog reviews, asked bloggers and watched youtube video's before deciding what to spend my pennies on!
i am a long time lover of mac after my mum introduced me. my view is that it is generally very good quality and generally reasonably priced (although i did push the boat out recently and spend more that i would like to admit to on the limited edition prism bronzer, totally worth it!). I use studio fix power every day and most of my blushes are mac. I also love their tinted balms. although, a heads up if you know anyone going state side get them to buy for you, it is a lot cheaper! x
ReplyDeleteI love MAC, but I hate spending money. So I look at reviews and whatnot all the time to determine what to buy first. Alot of times brands like Urban Decay or ELF might have a better vslue. I use MatchMaster foundation, and I LOVE it so much better than their other ones. So far my favorite products from them are their tinted lip conditioners and pigments.

I have a few bit and bobs, mostly lipsticks. I don't buy the shadows and blushes normally (though I have a couple blushes) because for the price, you can get better imo and I have easy access to Inglot which I love. But the lipsticks are certainly awesome.

ReplyDeleteI like shopping at MAC for 'bits', usually things like limited edition blushers (my Wonder Woman one is gorgeous!) and their Paint Pots are great too. I haven't properly tried any of their staples like their foundations, though I've heard they're good! x

I loveeeee MAC but only for treats, I couldn't afford buying their products all of the time! I love their blushers eg. Well Dressed or LadyBlush and their lipsticks are amazing quality. Angel, Creme Cup and Creme d'Nude are some of my faves X

ReplyDeletehaha ya I used to be into MAC but since I've found other products just as good and less in price. i think the hype w MAC (at least here) is they give 50% discount to make up artists so you see a lot of MUAs using MAC...
ReplyDeleteI was converted to MAC about a year ago when I broke up with my boyfriend. And since then I have been absolutely in love with it! You get such a good finish with a relatively low price (compared to lancome etc) They've just launched a new skincare range which is also fab so check that out too!!
