Raw Skin Food

British based cosmetics company Raw Skin Food specializes in creating skincare products that are organic, allergen free and suitable for vegans. I have been testing their  'Quench Thy Thirst' range, developed for dry skin.

Rich Facial Cleansing Milk £10.00
I was surprised when I first used this product. I was expecting to see a white liquid because it is a 'Cleansing Milk' However this cleanser is clear. It contains Hempseed oil which left a non greasy satin sheen to my skin. I like to remove this with a damp cotton pad. It gave a healthy glow to my face.

Nutritious Face & Body Tonique £11.00
This Tonique made my skin look healthy and refreshed. It comes with a spray pump, which was a nice change and made it easy to apply.

Nutritious Face & Body Balm £12.00
This thick balm is ideal for dry skin. I use it on my knees, elbows and hands. My skin type is Normal/Combination so It was a little too heavy for my face. It contains coconut butter which is renowned for improving skin elasticity and also ginger essential Oil; which helps to firm the skin. If you suffer from dry skin, this balm is very hydrating & moisturising.

Imperial Whipped Balancing Cleansing Milk £10.00

You use this like a face wash, it removes impurities from clogged up skin. Ideal if your acne prone. It smells delicious too! With hints lemongrass and Orange. I would recommend this to people with combination skin as it is light and leaves my face shine free.
